Gold Rate Today: Gold prices in India recorded a decline as geopolitical developments across the world continued to influence financial markets. According to the latest data released by the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold settled at Rs 1,58,399 per 10 grams by the close of trading on Friday. Since the bullion market remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays, the same rates are expected to remain in place throughout the weekend. The updated IBJA figures also highlight price levels across different gold purities, which are closely tracked by investors and jewellery buyers alike.
As per the IBJA data, 24-carat gold is currently valued at Rs 1,58,399 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold, commonly used for jewellery, is priced at Rs 1,45,093 per 10 grams. The rate for 18-carat gold stands at Rs 1,18,799 per 10 grams.

Delhi Bullion Market Sees Price Drop
Separate data from the All India Sarafa Association indicated a decline in gold prices in the national capital’s bullion market. The rate for 99.9 per cent pure gold, or 24-carat gold, fell by Rs 2,000, marking a drop of about 1.21 per cent. As a result, the price stood at Rs 1,65,200 per 10 grams, including all applicable taxes.
During the previous trading session, gold was quoted at the same level of Rs 1,65,200 per 10 grams.
Gold Futures Edge Lower On MCX
The futures segment also reflected mild pressure on gold prices On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract declined by Rs 66, or 0.04 per cent, reaching Rs 1,58,400 per 10 grams by evening trade. In the earlier trading session, the contract had closed at Rs 1,58,466 per 10 grams.
Despite the latest decline, gold prices remain close to record levels. Earlier this year, the precious metal reached an all-time high of Rs 1,80,779 per 10 grams in the futures market on January 29, underscoring strong global demand during uncertain times.
